Dundee | Collaborative Project

Reflections

︎

This amazing and interesting project was created by ScrapAntics, who collated around 10 oral histories interviewing local people about their connection to the River Tay and how that changed during lockdown.

We were commissioned to produce a site-specific piece inspired by the oral histories. A banner which was designed by us and created by textile artist Rhona Jack then displayed on the Discovery, a famous ship docked in Dundee. Along with a spoken word piece with accompanying video.

This was one of our favourite projects we’ve ever been involved with. A huge thank you to ScrapAntics, Nature Scot who funded the project, parters PAMIS and Dundee Libraries and all the other artists and contributors involved.
