Lochee Street Art Trail

We were so glad to be selected to be part of this street art trail organised by OpenClose Dundee, alongside some great local artists.

The brief was to paint a board that ‘looked through a window’ in Lochee. We decided to feature the old jute mill in Lochee, as we like it’s architecture and prominence in the area.

Although we usually paint in brighter, more vivid colours we decided to try something different for this piece - using a muted palette to give a vintage feel. We added gradient stripes in the background which gives the piece a contemporary edge to mix with the historical look.

Thank you to Russell Pepper of OpenClose Dundee for involving us - but also for everything they do to bring art and colour to the streets of Dundee!
